Passion, Pain, and Office Pandemonium - A Protagonist's comic odyssey!
KAREN invites you into the uproarious world of our Protagonist. Seamlessly breaking the fourth wall, she’ll whisk you through a chaos-filled narrative that has been described as “the female Peep Show”.
It’s a perfect storm of heartbreak, societal pressures, and an identity crisis that threatens to engulf her.
The final straw unleashes an explosive office showdown, where our Protagonist finally finds her voice. Through laughter, tears, and a healthy dose of sarcasm, Protagonist learns the invaluable lesson that the path to healing lies in moving through the pain, not around it, and that owning one’s emotions allows you to find peace.

Fox, Drops and Panda Pops
By Sarah Emily Teale
A work in progress...
A queer theatrical grief rave.
In a crappy town near a town near Manchester, Catt’s mum just died in a drug-fuelled car crash. On a totally unrelated note, she is setting out to lose herself in the dizzying heights of small-town DJ fame. Grief, raving, and increasingly low serotonin levels bleed together, as Catt scrambles to hold onto what made her fall in love with dancing in the first place.

Dance-floor culture is unrivalled in its feeling of community - we want to make theatre with the same feeling.

Through this project we explore rave as a theatrical tool, embrace music as a 5th character and apply the chaos of the ADHD experience to storytelling and style.

This is a northern, queer and neurodiverse piece of gig theatre (looking for a producer and development).

Contact
By Hannah Harquart

A darkly comedic play that questions how we’re supposed to really ‘connect’ with human beings. Contact also explores what it is to be held accountable for your actions (even at 15) and the debate around ‘cancel culture’ as well as consent. Is consent a purely physical thing?
